Sabine is a LEGAL Immigrant from Germany, also known as Domsmom.
She is a outspoken Advocate/ Activist opposing illegal immigration and became the voice for her only child Dominic “ German Chocolate “ Durden, who was killed 7-12-12 by an Illegal Alien repeat offender from Guatemala.
Sabine created Domhugs.org in his memory to share her journey and is a founding member & Director of AVIAC ( Advocates for Vicitms of Illegal Alien Crime).
She testified at Capitol Hill at a Judiciary Hearing 2013 and tried to bring awareness about illegal immigration and its cost to America.
The media kept ignoring her until Sabine had a private meeting with then candidate Donald Trump 7/2015 in Beverly Hills, California. After that she went on numerous media interviews and spoke at many rallies for the future President.
She was personally chosen by Candidate Trump to be a guest speaker at the RNC 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio and was also invited to the Inauguration Festivities in D.C. 2017.
Since then she also met with many high level officials from ICE, DOJ, Homeland Security and travels frequently to D.C. to meet with Senators, Congressmen and other politicians.
Sabine has been invited numerous times to meet President Trump at the White House / Oval Office to share Dominic and the horrific impact of illegal immigration.
At her latest visit to the Oval Office on March 15,2019 President Trump handed her the pen he used to sign a Veto against the measure that would have overturned his Border Emergency Declaration.
She has been featured and interviewed on many National and International News programs even appeared twice on CNN and once on MSNBC.
Sabine has become the voice not only for her late son, but many other Vicitms of illegal alien crime who wish to stay anonymous or don’t have the strength to speak up.
The love for her only child and the fact that the illegal alien killer only spent 35 days in jail, despite having 2 felonies and 2 DUIs on his record, gives her the strength and drive to share her story everywhere so others won’t have to experience a tragedy like this.
Dominic was the love of her life, her only child and best friend, who worked for the Riverside Sheriff’s Department 911 Dispatch Center. He studied to become a Motorcycle Officer and then Helicopter pilot for the Police
Department. His laughter, kindness, compassion, hugs, pranks and roaring laughter are deeply missed by so many all over the world.
Dominic’s name will never be forgotten and his 100% preventable death will not be in vain.
